patGal

Project discontinued - Source available on request

patGal is a new project of something I have been looking to find for Wordpress 1.5 - A integrated gallery. I know there are plugins like Gallery and Coppermine, but they are far to advanced and bloated with features that I don’t need. Lazygallery is also recently avaible, but it’s filebased and I like to use MySQL. I need a quickway to integrate a gallery on my blog with the standard features and an easy way to add images from it on my blogposts.

patGal is only written with Wordpress in mind and will because of that, have it’s Administration at the same place you administrate your Wordpress install.

User Comments:

Comment by RaynerApe - please consider allowing uploading from remote servers as alternative to uploading from hard drive. There are many good uses to that such as uploading screenshots from official game websites. Also, when you allow linking images in posts, use non-HTML tag so you’re not in conflict with WYSIWYG editors like WYSI-Wordpress that converts tags to UTF-8 symbols.
