Tarja kicked out

Just found a news article about Tarja being kicked out from the band Nightwish. Apparantly the band claims that the leadsinger Tarja became too much of a diva and was in the band just for the money. Personally I don’t care if this is the reason as long as they produce nice music. I doubt they find anyone that can really replace Tarja and her amazing voice.

There’s a letter explaining everything on their website, but the server seems overloaded since I can’t access it right now. All I get is the title..

Nice work NIGHTWISH!!! She could be the perfect soprano voice in the world but no good music is ever done when love for it is missing. If she lacked the passion for music and was only filled with need for money, the band is better off without her. Incredible voice… it’s a shame that it was wasted on such a person…

Well, I guess it’s a hard call. I’m pretty sure 90% of the artists out there is in it for the money, not because they love music. Maybe mix of both, but many would quit with the music if it wasn’t for the loads and loads of money they get for doing it.

I don’t think Nightwish will ever regain it’s strength now when Tarja is gone. All they do will just sound like weak copycats of Tarjas voice…

i think anette is doing just fine, and is far better that tarja

I can agree to the part that Anette is doing fine. I still listen to them. However it’s not comparable to the Nightwish with Tarja, for me they are different kind of group but with the same name.

I can see now that I was wrong, Nightwish is still popular. Maybe its because they don’t acctually sound the like.
