Free phoneservice

Tuesday, April 5th, 2005

A couple days ago we got an ad from our phonecompany (Bredbandsbolaget) with some news in their service. They are going to offer 3 different serviceagreements and you can choose the type that suits you best. Since Juha and I aren’t calling that much, we got quite happy when we saw the last option. It removed the monthly basecharge from the bill and instead charges a bit extra when the call is made.

This means we can have our phone and not pay anything for it unless we acctually use it. Perfect! ;)

Nice day in Azeroth

Okay, I just came out of a nice gaming session in World of Warcraft. A couple of days ago, my partner and I decided to create some alternative characters on Alliance. We have our main characters on Horde and was now curious on how the land on the other side looked.

We started playing a couple days ago and we allready like it better here. The quests are better, the graphics are much nicer and the variation seems much bigger. The whole place seems much more alive than the horde side. It’s quite easy to see that Blizzard spent more time on Alliance than Horde.

Anyway, my human priest Locita is now level 12 and recently joined one of the nicest guild I ever met called Alphagamer. My partner is a Nighelf warrior called Yönsotilas (level 15), so we make a quite good team together. He just started a guild with some finnish friends now, so he’s really happy on Alliance as well.

My friend Jens site (Razorslove.net ) is now live with wordpress too. He used to use my pBlog tool too, but since I abandoned it he did the same. Basically it wasn’t his choice, but mine since I do all administration work for him. He just writes his silly texts (I admit they can be quite funny :) ) and enjoys the day.

New blogware, same life

Sunday, April 3rd, 2005

Okay, as you may have noticed the site looks a bit different. Thats because I made a decision to go from my own software to a more wellknown blogtool called WordPress. It was a hard decision since I have spent alot of time (2 years I think) programming my old blog. However I did learn alot from it, so it’s not all to waste.

I changed to this software so more people can use my work. My old software was more my taste, didn’t make that many options for it since I made it for myself and not for others. That means it was no way going to be used in a larger scale. WordPress does a wonderful job on this (as well as with other stuff), so I rather help out that development than working against it. What can I do then? Well, I have some REALLY nice plans on plugins. It will probablly take some time before I get used to the plugin part of WordPress, but some day.. some month.. (maybe even some year..) I will have my first plugin. :)
