Okay, been some time off here again but this time I have a valid reason. I’ve had a horrible headache for over a week now and it’s all been located in my left temple (? tinning). After a couple of days with this extreme pain, I went to the local hospital for a quick look up. The doctor said apparently there’s nothing wrong with me except the headache, so she couldn’t do anything. However she recommended me to seek to a bigger hospital the day after if the headache was still there.

So I woke up the next morning, still with my aching temple. This meant I was supposed to take myself to a bigger hospital and for me it meant a couple miles with a bus to a hospital located in Huddinge. I arrived around 11AM and a nurse started taking my temperature and my blood pressure and some information he could pass on to the doctor. I was then seated in a temporary waiting room since they were renovating their normal. This meant I had to sit on really uncomfortable wooden chairs in an old surgery room with pure white walls and no decoration at all. This would be okay for a quick wait, but I had to wait about 6 hours until I got called into the doctor. Trust me when I say my head wasn’t the only thing hurting once I got into the examination room.

Okay, the doctor did some test on my reflexes and also took some look on my eyes. Once she was done, she was as clueless as the other doctor. She gave some suggestions on what it could be, but since I didn’t have any of the normal signs for those diseases, she could only guess. The only thing left to do to get a clear diagnose was to do an x-ray of my head. However she recommended me to wait and see what happens instead, since an x-ray would put me into the risk of radiation. I took her advice and went home. Luckily Juha came and fetched me up so I didn’t have to take the bus.

Today I feel much better, however I feel a small pressure to my left temple. I had some issues with headache a couple days after the hospital visit, but it luckily went away with some painkillers.
